We are so excited to serve you high quality beef! We are a first generation cattle ranch, focusing on raising cattle naturally for wholesale beef. We believe in producing ethically sourced homegrown meat products free from hormones, GMOs and other questionable additives. Striving to provide the highest-quality beef. 

We sell our beef in increments of 1/4,1/2 or whole cow.

ORDERING 

The Basics

1. Select 1/4, 1/2 or whole cow.

2. Pay deposit, receive your harvest date + fill out the cut sheet 
3. Wait a few weeks for processing 
4. Pick up your local natural meat, pay remaining balance + stock that freezer!




We sell wholesale beef 1/4, 1/2 or a whole cow. You would receive a variety of cuts including by not limited to ground beef, steak (filet, sirloin, ribeye, porterhouse, t-bone and flank),

brisket, roasts (chuck, sirloin, arm, rump, bottom round, top round), stew meat, soup bones, organ meat (if desired). 

We have a local butcher harvest and prepare the meat (make the cuts). 

A cut sheet will be provided so you can customize your order to your desired thickness of steaks, how many lb roasts/pack etc. Meat will be frozen and vacuum sealed. Pick up will be at butcher shop or at designated location agreed upon with customer and Heidenreich Ranch. Pick up day will be scheduled for about 2 weeks after your butcher date.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS 

Q- Is the butcher date when we pick up the beef?

A- short answer no. The butcher date is the day that we, Heidenreich Ranch, take the live steer to the butcher shop. This is the date customers book with us. This is not the pick up date. Beef processing takes approximately 2 weeks to complete from the butcher date to pick up.


Q-How long can you store raw beef in freezer?

A- According to foodsafety.gov there is no safety issue when it comes to leaving meat in a freezer temperature (0´F or below) indefinitely. 

below is guideline that when beef is consumed within this timeframe you will have maintained the highest quality of taste and tenderness.

Ground meat: 3-4 months

Steaks, chops & roasts: 4 months-1 year


Q-How much storage do I need? 

A-Based on the amount purchased it varies 

1/4 cow 4 cubic ft freezer 

1/2 8 cubic feet 

whole 16 cubic feet 


Q- Will the meat be delivered to me? 

A-We have the ability to deliver anywhere within 100 miles of our Ranch in Springboro, PA. Rest assured if you are not within this radius there are options for setting up a mutually agreed upon meeting sight & even shipping options available! 


Q-How much beef would I receive from a whole cow, 1/2 or 1/4 cow? 

A- These are **estimates** that are subject to change based off of how much the cow weighs and the cuts you choose

PRICING 

Deposits and beef purchases can be paid by check to Troy Heidenreich, cash or debit/credit card. 
Price/lb (hang weight)+ processing 
Your price includes all cuts of meat including the most expensive cuts (prime rib, filet, NY strip), beef will come frozen and vacuum packed. The more you buy the more you save. For exact pricing contact us directly. 

Bare with me- pricing breakdown  Our price is based off of the carcass weight AKA “hanging weight” this is prior to it being cut into individual cuts. Hanging weight includes bones but no other parts of the animal. The processor determines this weight. Carcass weight is not your take home weight. Your take home weight is about 60%+/- of this number depending how your choice in meat cuts. 

When ordering a 1/2 or whole cow you will have more say in customizing the cuts you want (more steaks less ground beef etc.) when buying a 1/4 you’re sharing the meat availability with more people limiting some “customization”.
